About Us Sichler Farms Produce LLC, along with Snake Ranch LLC are family run businesses, owned and operated by Chris and Paula Sichler. Snake Ranch, LLC is a farming operation located in the Middle Rio Grande Valley about one mile north of San Antonio, New Mexico. The Sichler Family has been farming in the Middle Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico since the first Sichlers immigrated here from Germany in 1868. Like all families, the Sichlers have many branches and today there are several Sichlers farming under the family name. In 2008, in order to distinguish themselves from the others, Chris and Paula began selling their products under the name Snake Ranch LLC. The Farm is operated by fifth and sixth generation farmers Chris Sichler and son Steven. On the farm we raise such things as Alfalfa, Peaches, Plums, Melons, Watermelons, Pumpkins, Squash, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, and of course, Chile. To learn more about the farm click on Snake Ranch LLC. Sichler Farms Produce LLC consists of two seasonal produce stands which open annually from August through October. Paula Sichler operates our San Antonio market where you will occasionally see our daughter Erica helping out. Our San Antonio market is located at 88 Highway 380 in San Antonio, New Mexico. Our Los Lunas market, Ernie Sichler Farms (originally owned by Chris' father Ernie) located at 135 Sichler Rd. Los Lunas, New Mexico, is managed by nephew Brian Green.
